Santa to Arrive on Sunday 23rd November at 2pm!
Blackrock Village Centre’s dazzling Christmas decorations, lights and giant reindeer props are creating a wonderful Christmas atmosphere in anticipation of Santa’s Arrival on Sunday 23rd November at 2pm.
This hugely popular community event starts at 1.30pm with Santa in his North Pole train together and his magical entourage parading through the village and stopping to turn on the village’s Christmas lights. The parade continues on to the centre, arriving at 2pm approximately, for the switching on of the centre’s Christmas lights. As families have come to expect and enjoy, there will have plenty of festive entertainment, goodies and giveaways, Christmas characters, and music on the mall. The excitement continues as Santa makes his way through the centre in his special train. There will be rides for children in the Santa’s train around the mall and there will be plenty of other Christmas surprises too.
Santa will then settle into his comfortable chair and Christmas set to meet and greet children. 200 children will enjoy a FREE visit and gift – Golden Tickets will be distributed by the Santa and his helpers, some during the village parade and then in the centre from 2pm.
Everybody is invited to celebrate this wonderful Christmas treat!
