We’re proud to make history
Blackrock Village Centre is the first shopping centre in Ireland to offer free period products in both customer and staff bathrooms, thanks to a landmark partnership with Irish period care brand Riley.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where period care is treated as an everyday essential, just like toilet paper and soap. By providing free access to period products, we hope to ensure that no customer or member of staff has to cut a shopping trip short, miss work, or experience unnecessary stress because period care isn’t available when it’s needed.
Our partnership with Riley also reflects a shared commitment to supporting Irish, sustainable businesses. As a female-founded Irish period care brand with sustainability at its core, Riley shares our values of putting people and community first.
At Blackrock Village Centre, we’re working to create more than just a place to shop. We’re building a destination where people choose to visit because they know they’re supporting a centre that, in turn, supports its community.
